At Primal we are built around the concept of saving the planet through fashion. This is a lofty goal that, we have found at every step costs us just a little bit more to achieve, but it is worth it.

Our Packaging

Packaging is often the first place many businesses have difficulty, and the greatest opportunity, for their sustainability initiatives. Plastic is so cheap and easily sourced it is quite difficult giving up the addiction to plastic, but it is great to see so many major businesses trying now. At Primal we have eliminated plastic at every step, often to the consternation of our suppliers.

Our gift boxes

Our luxury boxes are made from Greyboard, which is 100% recycled material and 100% recyclable. We have eliminated plastic completely from our packaging and asked our suppliers to refrain from using plastic when packing our goods for shipping.

We use sustainable, ethically sourced paper products always looking for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo and certification from our suppliers. Find out more about FSC at www.fsc.org.

Our care cards

Our care cards are printed on 100% recycled paper using Eco-friendly inks.

Our Products

Our silk masks

Silk is a 100% natural, renewable material with low environmental impact compared with other fibres. The silkworms feed on mulberry leaves, which do not warrant much application of pesticides or fertilizers to grow. And silk farming requires large groves of trees adding to the greening of our planet.

The current disposable mask situation is not getting much media attention, however COVID-19s impact has been disastrous in this regard, hundreds of millions of disposable masks are entering landfills on a daily basis, entering our water systems, the oceans and cluttering our streets.

Our cork leather products - coming soon!

Cork leather is 100% natural and vegan, water repellent, stain resistant and scratch-proof. it is very low-maintenance and absolutely light years ahead of the ecological disaster that is animal leather.

Our silver products - coming soon!

We are really proud of this one, nothing about mining precious metals is environmentally friendly, however we have found an amazing group of Thai master craftsman that have embraced making their craft Eco-friendly. Our silver jewelry is all made from 100% recycled silver, from unloved pieces to silver recovered from electronics. We can safely say our silver products are the lowest impact you can buy.

We will continue to do this with every product we produce, wherever and whenever possible choosing and sourcing our materials and finished products from sources with the lowest environmental footprint.
